Like many of you, my personal life revolves around four things: delicious food (I married the cook), good wine, funny stories and cups of tea. As I resume traveling this month, connecting families and professionals, entrepreneurs and non-profit leaders, I am reminded of the simple joy of sharing our stories and our mission to improve the health and well-being of all. September is Healthy Aging month,so enjoy a glass of red wine and let's celebrate your good health. Here's some news from the Circle of Life network that may be of interest.
Keep in touch,
Janet

Conversation Starters Are you looking for an unusual gift for your friends, parents or grandparents? The rage among the older set at many assisted living/community centers is a card game called "My Gift of Grace." Designed to spark conversations about living and dying, the card deck includes 47 provocative questions such as "What is the last meal you want to eat and who would you like to join you?" A surprising icebreaker for the conversations no one wants to have. Order a deck here.

 Calling Healthcare Entrepreneurs
What do you get when you mix the knowledge of medical leaders with the drive of entrepreneurs? Innovation. Harvard Medical School and Harvard Business School recently launched a challenge to entrepreneurs: Submit proven ideas to improve care, lower costs, and expand access and they'll award $150,000 in prizes to the finalists, provide access to national health care experts, and write case studies with a global reach. This challenge is open to all. The deadline is September 29, 2014 and submissions may be entered here .
