Wilderness First Aid
EMTA Enterprises has one upcoming 16 hour courses:
1. April 30-May 1, 9am-5pm at Camp Apasus, 8420 Granby St Norfolk, VA 23505
These courses provide practical first aid care for remote areas and when help is delayed. Because of the graphic content of some injuries, it is recommended for mature students only. CPR training is a prerequisite for the course.

District Service Opportunity
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Virginia Beach is looking for volunteers for their Bike MS Fundraiser event called Bike MS: Colonial Crossroads.
When: June 4-5 (options to help on one or both days)
Route: Various between Smithfield, Richmond, and Colonial Williamsburg
Heroes for our Environment
On April 16th, 50 volunteers of Cub Scout Pack 103 participated in a community service project to pick up trash and litter along Merrimac Trail. This was an effort as part of the Great American Cleanup. A crew from City of Williamsburg Public Works (and a Boy Scout from Troop 103) assisted the Cub Scouts to maintain traffic control and safe working conditions and by providing vests, gloves, bags, and refreshments for the volunteers. The group picked up 20 bags of trash.

Members of Pack 310 did a litter pick up at the Newport News Green Foundation Property. 25 members/parents/siblings participated! Bob Vazquez, Conservation Co-Chair for Monitor-Merrimac District helped the pack leadership with an environment talk.

Rockwell Paintings in Williamsburg
The Muscarelle Museum of Art at William & Mary currently has an exhibit featuring nine of Norman Rockwell's Scouting Paintings. The exhibition will run from 6 FEB to 21 AUG.
