Rockwell Paintings in Williamsburg
The Muscarelle Museum of Art at William & Mary currently has an exhibit featuring nine of Norman Rockwell's Scouting Paintings. The exhibition will run from 6 FEB to 21 AUG.

The First of our two Jamboree Troops are filled. We still have 34 Boy Scout slots and 18 Venturer/Sea Scout slots remaining.

Scout Shop
Thank you to all those that came out to help move Your CVC Scout Shop and Service Center. Tomorrow we will open at our new location at 11834 Canon Blvd Suite L, Newport News, VA.
Our new hours are: Service Center: 10am-5pm Monday - Friday Scout Shop: 10am-6pm Monday-Friday, and 10am-2pm Saturday
Thank you for your patience during this transition. Your loyalty to your CVC Scout Shop allows us to continually grow and improve our product and stock offerings. Your support goes right back into supporting your Council and your Scout Shop.

A Cycling We Will Go
Troop 103 C&O Canal Crew Preparing for the adventure
The C&O Canal National Historical Park is a 185 mile long National Park. The ride will start from Cumberland, MD and end at Mount Vernon, VA. The Scouts will be riding on the original canal towpath, constructed from 1800-1840. There are no motor vehicles on the towpath. All said, they will ride about 240 miles.

The Monitor-Merrimac District is going to have a new award for Scoutmaster of the Year and Cubmaster of the Year. We want Patrol Leader Councils of the Troop to write an essay on why their Scoutmaster should be nominated. Commissioners and Packs can turn in write ups to nominate their Cubmaster.
