MEDIA ALERT: Groundbreaking for Handicap Playground Equipment
LEESVILLE, La.--  Donors, media, and residents are invited to attend  the second groundbreaking will take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center at noon, October 12, 2015.

One ADA Combination Swing (wheel-chair accessible) and 1 face-to-face swing (allows adult and child to swing together) will be placed at the center's park.

The City was able to purchase the new equipment by the donations of more than 60 individuals and businesses. One of the swings will be placed at the golf course park in honor of Macy SanNicolas, granddaughter of Darrell Woofter who lead the charge in gathering donations.
