City of Leesville Hiring Full-Time Meter Reader for Water Department

LEESVILLE, La.-- The City of Leesville is hiring a full-time meter reader for the water department.
The applicant must have a high school education/GED or higher, and must have a valid Louisiana driver's license
Duties include reading meters, changing meters, changing bodies, completing work orders, disconnecting and reconnecting water services on disconnect day, linking meters to residences, checking for leaks, putting work orders in the system, and cleaning around the meter to get the read when needed. Applicants must also have the ability to walk, bend, squat, and stand for periods of time.
Work hours are Monday thru Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm with occasional overtime.
To apply, please submit a resume with completed application to the Finance Manager in person. Applications are available in the Mayor's Office at City Hall or in the Water Department. Applications must be received by August 24, 2015 to be considered.
Pay Rate: Starting at $10.00/hour Overtime: time and a half
