CLTCC Honored at August City Council Meeting
LEESVILLE, La.-- Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) was recognized at the Leesville City Council meeting August 10, 2015. The college was recognized for outstanding efforts in service to the City.

Staff and students at CLTCC have donated time and skill in improving the Leesville Main Street District and other areas of the City.

The CLTCC carpentry program, taught by Bobby Bordelon, and with supplies provided by the City and others, built the Farmers' Market; the deck next to Jillybeans on Texas Avenue and Second Street; the first neckdown on Texas and South Third; the "Welcome to Leesville" blocks at the  overpass on U.S. 171 South; the "God Bless You" blocks at the overpass on U.S. 171 North; and the Polk Outdoor Theatre.

The City of Leesville would like to again thank CLTCC for their contributions to the Downtown District. Geralyn Janice, Campus Dean, accepted the award for the college.
