City of Leesville Announces City-Wide Communication System

LEESVILLE, La.-- The City of Leesville announces a variety of ways for its residents to stay informed about city news.


The Leesville Police Department uses the Nixle system to send out warnings, advisories, and various other updates via text messages, emails, Facebook, and Twitter. Updates include information about traffic, accidents, road closures, missing persons, advisories, weather updates, and community events.

The Mayor's Office at the City of Leesville also maintains an email distribution list that provides residents with timely information regarding city news and activities. To sign up for these updates, text LEESVILLE to 22828.
