Reminder: Leesville Fire Department to Hold Ceremony to Honor 9/11 Victims

LEESVILLE-- The Vernon Parish Fire Chaplains Corps has announced that there will be a ceremony on Sept. 11 to mark the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks and to honor our nation's heroes.

The observance will take place on Thursday, Sept. 11 from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Vernon Parish Veterans Plaza located along Third Street in downtown Leesville. The services are free and open to the public.

Please join us as we take the time to remember those who lost their lives, the families and friends whose lives were forever altered by their loss, and honor those who continue to serve and keep our nation safe.
