Leesville Mayor Robert Rose proclaims April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month

Leesville, LA - Mayor Robert Rose presented the National Child Abuse Prevention Month Proclamation to CASA on April 7, 2014.  

 

CASA is a key organization in the City of Leesville for the promotion of abuse prevention and actively participates in the community to create a safer community for every child in Leesville.

 

"Our nation has a responsibility to build a safe and nurturing society so that our young people can realize their full potential, said Mayor Rose. "This proclamation is to renew our commitment to preventing child abuse."

 

The City of Leesville encourages all citizens to protect our children from abuse and neglect and to help ensure that every child can grow up in a secure and loving environment.
