Basecamp "First Day Hike"
Caddo Bend Trail - Ouachita State Park

HSV Basecamp will be participating in Arkansas's "First Day Hike." Come join others in starting the year off right in a healthy, active way, enjoying nature and camaraderie. Basecamp guides will meet up at the Caddo Trail, Trail Head at Ouachita State Park at 11:30 am for a guided 4 mile (approximately 3 hours) hike starting promptly at 12:00 pm. A shorter hike of approximately 1 to 2 miles may be taken if desired. The Caddo Bend Trail is categorized as strenuous. Look for the Basecamp Trailer at the trail head. Remember to dress appropriately, bring water to carry, and snacks for the trail if desired. A camera, hiking stick (or poles), and journal are always good items to take hiking also. Village Players Auditions - Actors Needed!

Actors needed for the HSV Players production of "Twelve Angry Men", a theater in the round drama taking place at the Coronado Community center in February.

Guided Yoga Flow
Coronado Fitness Center - 160 Ponderosa Lane
Wednesdays - 2:00 p.m.
Using verbal cues and assistance, you will be guided through a flowing yoga class synchronizing breath and movement, thus allowing you to experience the full benefits of your yoga practice. Taught by Lynda Valdez.
Classes will continue every Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.

Diamond Squares of Hot Springs Village has extended its holiday break. The next dance will be an Open House on Thursday, January 21, 2016 to kick off the club's second new dancer program of the season. Diamond Squares is the only square dance club in Hot Springs Village that teaches "beginners." The Village Card Club is offering bridge courses in January. Learn Bridge in A Day?® is a five-hour course designed especially for newcomers and returning players to learn the fundamentals of bridge play and sharpen their skills. Students will leave ready to take on a new beginner class or even play in a newcomer game at the Village Card Club. Choose from either Saturday, January 23, or Wednesday January 27.
