Tips to Keep Your Home Safe for All

July 2014
"Winner of the 2014 Newport County Chamber of Commerce Business Entrepreneur of the Year"

For all of the folks who have followed us and our company's progress, it certainly has been a wild ride.  Our growth has been so relentless that we have out grown our current location in Middletown and will soon be moving into a 5000 square foot building in Portsmouth, RI at 207 High Point Ave.  The new location offers us a chance to grow comfortably into the foreseeable future.  In addition to an expanded warehouse shop facility with loading dock access, it also offers spacious offices and more importantly a large area in which we will highlight our products and new emerging technologies.

Our intention is to establish an interactive learning center where individuals can try out different devices and manufacturers can showcase their latest products.  Please stay tuned in the coming months for more exciting news as we move further ahead into our newest endeavor!

Happy July 4th!

What you may not know about COLLARD GREENS!

I have to be honest with you. Collard greens are not my favorite but in the spirit of what is good and healthy and seasonal I am here to let you know what is great about Collard Greens! The cholesterol-lowering ability of collard greens may be the greatest of all commonly eaten cruciferous vegetables. In a recent study, steamed collard greens outshined steamed kale, mustard greens, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and cabbage in terms of its ability to bind bile acids in the digestive tract. This means that collard greens has a fabulous ability to lower cholesterol and good for the digestion. What is better than that? ;) When eating anything I am not absolutely overjoyed about, this recipe with a combination of bacon and sesame oil is always a good way to help the medicine go down. This vegetable was made famous by the South but no reason not to mix it up a bit and throw in some Asian influence.

Eat! Cook! And be happy!!!....and eat your greens!
