Introducing Home Healthsmith LLC
We deliver freedom, mobility and confidence with unique and innovative solutions that preserve your independence.
You want to live in the home you've been comfortable in for years, but some of its features may make that difficult.
We can help by installing stair-lifts, ramps, and other mobility devices. We also conduct home safety audits, repair wheelchairs and scooters, maintain alarms, and seasonal property services such as weekly monitoring and installation of air conditioners, screens and patio furniture.
Helping our clients achieve mobility and safety enhances their freedom, improves their sense of control and helps them retain their personal dignity.
Home Healthsmith is our passion. We are delighted to introduce it to you.

Bill Certified as Aging In-Place Specialist (CAPS)
Bill recently completed the requirements established by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) to earn the designation of Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS).
Having earned this CAPS designation, Bill has learned how to assist homeowners to safely age in place. Bill now has the solutions, strategies and techniques for designing and building aesthetically pleasing, barrier-free living environments.
Bill has more than 30 years prior experience with adaptive mobility equipment. He is fully licensed to install, service, and repair stairlifts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He has also completed a Stairlift Certification Course offered by Handicare, Inc. He founded Accurate Elevator and Lift in 1994 and sold it to a major international elevator company in 2010.
In addition to the technical experience, Bill brings compassion to his work. "Linda and I have a personal concern for the people we serve," he said adding, "we work hard to understand what each client wants, whether it is equipment or something more personal. Our goal at Home Healthsmith is to connect our clients with whatever they need to live a full and rewarding life."

Supporting our Warriors
Retired Navy Chief Paul Walters was deeply touched to learn that Home Healthsmith had made a donation in his honor.
Chief Walters served in the United States Navy for twenty years aboard several different vessels. He was among the troops that took part in the Cuban Blockade and served
aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kennedy. His most vivid memories include surviving being onboard eight river patrol boats in Vietnam that came under enemy fire. His service was recognized with a Bronze Star, a Purple Heart and a Navy Accommodation Medal.
Home Healthsmith was pleased to install a stairlift in Chief Paul Waiter's home to help his wife Dora remain living with Paul in their Middletown home.
