| "BRING A HERO" PICINIC AT POWELL BRANCH |

Who is YOUR hero?? Do you know a fireman, police officer, or veteran?Maybe it's your mom or dad who is super great! What about YOU? Can you walk through the "Ring of Fire", crawl through the "Super" tunnel, do you have "Super Breath?" Bring your hero and a picnic dinner and we will provide activities, drinks, and dessert on the library lawn to honor our "Super Heroes"!!
The Frigid Frog of West Georgia will provide snow cones for dessert!

| SUMMER READING CHALLENGE 2015 CONTINUES |

Bam! Pow! READ! The summer reading program returns for another great year of explosive programs, performers, and prizes. Experience summer reading with the whole family - adults, children and teens!
Registration is underway at any CPLS location. For more information about our summer performers, visit the CPLS CALENDAR. All reading logs MUST be turned in by July 25th to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

| OVERDRIVE'S BIG LIBRARY READ |
We are taking part in OverDrive's Big Library Read program. CPLS users will have simultaneous access to borrow the eBook and audiobook of "Eyes on You" a suspense novel by Kate White, starting today Tuesday, June 9th, and concluding at midnight on June 23rd by visiting http://cpls.lib.overdrive.com.
The Big Library Read program is made possible through a partnership between OverDrive, the leading supplier of eBooks and more to libraries, and Harper Collins, publisher of New York Times best-selling author Kate White.

 June is "Audiobook Appreciation Month". Patrons ages 18 and up who check out any audiobook are eligible to enter a drawing at the Powell Branch Library. Limit one entry per audiobook checked out. Contest dates are June 1 - 27, 2015. Prize drawing will be held, and winner announced, on June 29. |
| GRANTVILLE BRANCH: CITY-WIDE SCAVENGER HUNT |

How  much do you know about your very own town? This city wide scavenger hunt will have your group running all over the city letting their creative juices flow. Test your knowledge by having teams of two or more compete to win the grand prize. All ages welcome (15 and under must have a parent on their team). Must have all entries in by Friday July 24th at 5pm.
