CASA LAKE COUNTY SALUTES OUR EVERYDAY HEROS

On Saturday, March 8, CASA Lake County celebrated the Power of Advocacy at the Arboretum Club in Buffalo Grove. Now in our 20th year, we applauded the tireless commitment of hundreds of volunteers who have given the best of themselves to nearly 600 abused or neglected children -- their time, their observations, their compassion and their whole heart --to children who would have never had a voice without them. A WARM THANK YOU TO NEW CASA FRIENDS --AND LUNDBECK -- A LONGTIME CORPORATE SUPPORTER OF CASA AND OUR VOLUNTEER TRAINING PROGRAM

STAR CHICAGO MEDIA COUPLE -- BOB SIROTT AND MARIANNE MURCIANO WILL HOST CASABLANCA 2014 ON MAY 10 AT RAVINIA

Hosted by WGN AM's Bob Sirott and Marianne Murciano
When we invited Bob Sirott and his wife Marianne Murciano --a respected and loved Chicago media couple and parents of four children, Marianne responded "we are so honored to be part of your evening."  They will join us in saluting Walgreens' Chief Diversity Officer Steve Pemberton, who tells his compelling personal story. Join us for a fun-filled evening of cocktails, a silent and live auction, dinner, dancing and so much more.

Help us blow out candles as we celebrate 20 years of providing advocacy and hope for abused or neglected children living in our community.

GOLF FOR A CHILD INVITATIONAL IS COMING UP!
MONDAY, JUNE 16 AT KEMPER LAKES!

As the snow melts in our back yards, and we glance down at our salt-stained shoes, think sun, think green, think nailing a PAR 3. We invite you to join us for CASA Lake County's annual Golf for A Child Invitational on Monday, June 16. We are delighted to report that CASA Board Member Jim/Norm Lillis is back by popular demand to host an exclusive golf outing on Monday, July 7. CDW has been a steadfast and loyal supporter of CASA for many years -- and we simply could not have reached our 20th year milestone without them. Thanks to all CDW friends (and Norm fans) for coming out again this year...

For the June 16 event, CASA Lake County is accepting sponsorship applications and foursomes for a beautiful day on the links. As Miff Ardell (husband of CASA Extraordinaire Susan Ardell) said last summer -- "It is not only a great day of golf, it is a great way to serve the children who need us the most."
