"He is a big part of my life. He is always there for me and I look to him as a father figure. On our visits we take pictures of nature. ..I learn something new every time we take pictures together. I create my own world through the lens of a camera," said Andrew, speaking about his CASA Advocate Jim Sayre.

 

We spoke to Jim about this 15-year old young man -- a child whose childhood was stolen; a child without a sense of family -- a child who has never known a safe home.

CASA Advocate Crowned Mrs. International
 
Amy GregorioAmy Gregorio, a Lake County CASA Advocate for five years, was recently crowned Mrs. International 2013 before a sold-out audience at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Competing against 70 other contestants, Amy will use her platform to raise awareness about CASA and child abuse and neglect in our community and nationwide. Read More.
