A Magical Night at the Chicago Botanic Garden Raised nearly $175,000 for Abused and Neglected Children in Lake County

Nearly 300 guests attended a spring soiree at the Botanic Garden on May 4 to raise funds for the 1,400 children who are reported abused or neglected in Lake County. The evening began with a silent auction in the flower-lined Krehbiel Gallery featuring 63 unique items - from pampering spa packages at the Peninsula Hotel, to tickets to Jon Stewart and Jimmy Kimmel, from lavish Chef-prepared dinners to a Wine a Week subscription.
