Greetings!
It's time to apply for scholarships! Studies show that completing your degree is well worth your time and money in the long run, but we all know it can be hard to afford in the present. Receiving a scholarship can make a huge difference and decrease your student loans. Last year more than 90 College of Business students were awarded scholarships. Over $124,000 was given away to deserving students! Applying for a scholarship is a quick process that can have a big reward. Please take the time to fill out an application and you could receive a scholarship ranging from $500 to $5,000! Where can you fill out an application? Visit your student portal, or click here. I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you next year at our scholarship banquet. - Dean Flannery

Advising Tip
Dear Advisor,
I have been in college four years and graduation is fast approaching. Although college has been stressful, it has also been fun and I'm pretty comfortable here. I am getting nervous to graduate and finding a job really scares me. What should I do?
Signed, Nervous to Graduate
Dear Nervous to Graduate,
I totally understand your feelings as I was there once as well! It is hard to leave a place when you finally have the rhythm down and even know when to expect the stress times and how to deal with it. However, isn't this what you've been working for?! Finding a job, especially in a tougher economy can be stressful. One of the great things about MSU is all the resources that are at your fingertips. I suggest you go to the Career Development Center (CDC), WA 209, and learn about all the services and ways they can assist with your career search.
Signed, Advisor
