California State University is Open for Spring 2014 Admissions!

Many California State University campuses, including Sonoma State University, will be accepting spring 2014 upper division transfer applications from August 1-31, 2013. Applications should be submitted through www.csumentor.edu. Not all campuses and majors will be open to applicants for spring 2014 so be sure to check with your target university and/or the CSU Mentor website to see if the CSU campus and major you wish to apply are accepting applications:

www.csumentor.edu/filing_status/Default.asp (Select Application: Undergraduate, Enrollment Term: Spring 2014).

Some CSU campuses have not yet posted their application status on the csumentor.edu website so check back often if you don't see your target CSU campus listed.

Meet with an SRJC counselor if you have any questions regarding your eligibility to transfer in spring 2014: www.santarosa.edu/counseling.

Remember: Applications are due August 1 - 31, 2013!

Bear Cub Fact:

Bear Adults Wrestling

As brown bear breeding season approaches (May to July), the boars become more aggressive toward each other. To show dominance, they stand upright, growling and roaring at each other. Wrestling matches are common, and either or both boars can be injured by sharp canine teeth. To show submission, a bear may keep its head lowered and back away. Sows with cubs try to steer clear of these fights.

BearFacts is a publication of the SRJC Student Affairs Office
The purpose of the BearFacts Bulletin is to provide students with information
about SRJC events, activities, engagement opportunities and important deadlines.

All submissions can be emailed to the Student Graphic Artist/BearFacts Editor
bearfacts@santarosa.edu. Submissions may be edited for length & clarity.
