Coping Strategies for Hearing Loss: a free, non-credit course which provides education and support for adults with hearing loss. Monthly meetings focus on topics such as cochlear implants, overcoming communication challenges, hearing aids, loop systems and other technology. Friends and family members are welcome to attend the class. Captioning/transcribing and assistive listening devices will be available for every class.
The first meeting will be Wednesday, February 13, 2013, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Santa Rosa Campus, Doyle Library Room 4245, Ground Floor. Topic: Cochlear Implant User's Panel.
