Ummm...is it really December?  Not sure how that happened, but here we are.  We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! We loved all the energy around the studio throughout the weekend as you stayed committed to your MOVEmber Challenge. If you were told beets could improve your cardiovascular health, improve your running or cycling times, and improve your endurance to power through a sixty-minute cardio class, you might scratch your head (or turn up your nose) and ask, "Beets? Well how is that?"
 
Beets are one of the root vegetables naturally nitrate-rich. Other vegetables with moderate to high levels of nitrates are spinach, arugula, celery, cabbage, radishes, collard greens, carrots and turnips.
