Features a quest to deliver a love letter!  "Imagine for a moment, playing Stratego with mirrors...but on a smaller playing field, and much quicker game time."
~Ender Wiggins, BGG.com
What's My Word?
"An addictive treat, an absolute gem...."
"the best two-player word game ever invented" by more than one critic, and "Mastermind for word junkies.
~ Nataline, BBG.com

The Road to Canterbury
"A perfect hour for two!..... A near-perfect masterpiece. I would be hard-pressed to name a game that so closely integrates theme and play, with a gaming voice so mischievous and bawdy that one might feel as if that old bard Chaucer himself may have had a hand in its production."  (Note:  TRTC was the runner-up for best board game for 2011 and  "to call The
Road to Canterbury
a "runner-up" seems almost an injustice, as it deserves the same superlative as its subject matter: Classic.")  ~Chris @ Dice Hate Me

Caveman Curling
A great gift for those who want a bit more physical action. Great two person challenge, and also excellent as a light group party game too!  "Dexterity! Crokinole style flicking! Great artwork! Humorous theme!  Very fun game, highly recommended."

~ Ender Wiggins, BGG.com

Railways of North America
Time to take things transcontinental railway barons!

Big thanks to all those who helped make this game possible on Kickstarter! We hope that you're all as excited as we are to play the newest installment in the "Railways of the World" series. This game is in production now, and has an approximate arrival date of mid-June 2013. If you missed it on Kickstarter you can still pre-order RONA + 10 Limited Edition Transcontinental Baron cards and save $7.00 off of MSRP.

Railways of North America came together out of a bunch of ideas that Sean Brown had after working with Rick Holzgrafe on Railways of the Western US. Originally, Rick and Sean were going to release a Transcontinental Expansion after Western US came out, but the idea of an expansion to an expansion was not one that seemed to appeal to everyone. Sean had a Canadian map kicking around for about a year or so, and got the idea of combining the two. Rick liked the idea too, and they began working on the map with some cards and cities.

Kickstarter really helped pull all the ideas together into one package, and without Kickstarter, we would have just done a Canadian expansion, and the Transcontinental game might never have been made. Because of all the interest, we were able to bring back those ideas, and come up with a few more. The result is something great in a new expansion. It is no longer an expansion of an expansion, but an expansion for any fan of the Railways of the World Series. We are super pleased with how the game turned out, and now we have Railways of North America instead of just Railways of Canada.

"Fleet" wins the 2012 Dice Hate Me Game of the Year Award!

"So for those of you dear readers (and listeners) who were paying attention in 2012, this salty selection will probably come as no surprise. I almost called it as Game of the Year back in March when I first played and reviewed this Kickstarter feel-good game, and it stuck with me throughout the year. Every title that hit the table was contending against this early favorite - and in the end, I simply couldn't justify another pick that could top it. Since its release this fall, a lot of gamers have bemoaned the auction, or debated on and on about how overpowered the Shrimp (or Cod or Processing Vessel) license seems to be - but for those that have stuck with it and have fished deep into its balanced and nuanced depths, they've reaped a satisfying bounty of gaming goodness. Controversial or not, I stand by Fleet not only as my favorite game of 2012 - but one of my favorites of all time. And if any of you landlubbers have any doubts, I'll challenge you to a fishing tourney any day, anywhere!"

Karesansui
~ The Rock Garden ~

By Joseph Kisenwether

Kickstarter project set to launch in February!

In "Karesansui ~ The Rock Garden ~" players are Second Grade Initiates in the Monkey Fist Feng Shui Monastery. They will be competing to bring the highest sense of feng shui to their individual rock gardens. Along the way they try to avoid getting demerits from the masters for any imperfections they introduce in their ever-changing rock gardens.

Originally starting its life as a prototype with plastic pyramids and cards, the design for "Karesansui" has evolved into a full-fledged
board game. The original bidding and card cycling mechanics that made the game so unique and wonderful have remained the same, we've just added rocks (well, wooden representations of rocks anyway) and various gardens and rakes to help bring the game to life.  Actually, at one point the company was considering having a dump truck drop off a literal ton of real river rock to use in the game, but unfortunately the logistics of having the factory sort through all of them by color and size and then engrave them, proved to be totally cost prohibitive. So colored wooden heat-stamped rocks became the most practical solution.  That's your "behind the scenes" peek at the production process of this game! And remember we need your support on Kickstarter to make this great little game a reality!

"Fantastiqa" review

Whenever a publisher sends me a game for review purposes, I always worry about what I'll say if I don't like it. On the one hand, I want to be honest about my opinions of the game. On the other hand, I want to thread carefully because a bad review can result in loss of sales and we all know that making a living as games publisher, specially if you're a small guy, is far from easy!

If to that we ad that fact that I am actually very fond of the designer, that makes my trepidation all the more noticeable.

Thank goodness we're talking about Alf Seegert here. That means that I can rest assured the game will be very enjoyable and very original. If you've played The Road to Canterbury you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, you're seriously missing a treat!

Fantastiqa is a competitive story-telling game for two to four players who will need to travel from land to land subduing beasts and creatures in order to recruit them and get their help to go on quests that will bring glory, and therefore victory, to the first player who caries out a number of quests.
