Join us for Jazz in July!
|
Third time's a charm! For the third year, PCHTF's Can I Be Your Neighbor campaign is excited to sponsor the Neighborhood Passport program at Metro Arts Jazz in July. Metro Arts Alliance and Polk County Housing Trust Fund look forward to working together once again as we strive to improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Can I Be Your Neighbor is dedicated to the many individuals and families who make Des Moines work and the developers and providers that help make affordable housing possible. We invite you to visit our website to explore stories of families, take a look inside new and renovated projects, and find out what affordability really means!
Keep your eye out for the Can I Be Your Neighbor table at each of the 16 local concerts, and stop by to get your passport stamped for a chance to win prizes from local businesses. Last year's prizes included tickets to the Des Moines Playhouse, Iowa Cubs, and Iowa State Fair, goodies from RAYGUN, and many gift certificates to some of the tastiest restaurants in town. Once you get your Passport stamped, you will be automatically entered in the nightly raffle for a chance to win some of these fantastic prizes. Hold onto that Passport, because the more stamps you get, the more chances you have to win the extraordinary grand prize - a compilation of tickets, goodies, and gift certificates from all of the contributing local businesses!
We hope you'll come out to enjoy a summer evening (or two or 10!) with us to celebrate the great music and great neighbors we have in Greater Des Moines. We are excited to have added many new sites and new neighborhoods to this year's program! Click below for the full schedule, and we hope to see you there!
