Thanks to our Committee Members
May is a busy month for PCHTF Standing Committees. There are many recommendations to prepare for the 2013/14 fiscal year. The Development Committee has spent many hours preparing a Housing Allocation Plan for the coming year. The Operating and Supportive Service Committee has reviewed and scored eight applications from providers for 2013/14 OSS funds. The Finance Committee has prepared a proposed administrative budget for the new year and reviewed RFPs for auditors and accountants.
Look for results of that work in the July eNewsletter that will report on the Board's actions on the recommendations. In the meantime, be sure to thank a committee member for all of their good work.

Before & After
Hawthorn Hill - 2718 Glover Ave Renovation
During 2011, Hawthorn Hill received four single family homes donated by Wells Fargo. The homes were foreclosures, and although structurally sound, they were in very poor condition. Hawthorn Hill accepted the donated homes to add to the housing inventory for its permanent supportive housing program, The Home Connection.

Elizabeth Presutti has the Floor
General Manager of Dart
Not many people know that I grew up living in affordable housing. My mother was the resident manager of an affordable housing complex outside of Buffalo, New York. So I have long been familiar with the important role that affordable housing plays in the lives and livelihoods of people and their communities. Affordable housing is more than the "safety net" that some people think of it as.
