The Polk County Housing Trust Fund 2011/2012 Annual Report

  The Housing Trust Fund's Annual Report is now available in print and electronic formats

The PCHTF is distributing its Annual Report for fiscal year 2011/2012. Printed copies are available by contacting the Housing Trust Fund's office at 515.282.3233 or by sending an email request to Carol Duncan at cduncan@pchtf.org   In order to conserve cost, paper and postage the Report is also available in an electronic format on the website. CHI opens Capitol City Duplexes in Des Moines

 

DES MOINES, IA - Community Housing Initiatives, Inc. (CHI), along with its partners, Midwest Housing Equity Group (MHEG), Polk County Housing Trust Fund (PCHTF), Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) and the City of Des Moines celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of Capitol City Duplexes on Nov. 19 in Des Moines. The 16 units of affordable housing are located at six properties in the metro area.

This year has brought a new partnership between United Way of Central Iowa and the Polk County Housing Trust Fund.  For the first time UWCI has made a financial investment in the operational budget of the Housing Trust Fund.  With this $47,000 investment comes accountability.

Research Project on Target

 

Community and regional planning faculty are studying Polk County's supply of affordable, low-income housing to determine if it matches existing need.
