Is it just us, or has October simply flown by? Between our annual Pet Maven Mingle for all our terrific sitters, and making plans for the approaching holidays, we've certainly been busy!

With Halloween just around the corner, we hope you've got some spooky fun in store. But sadly, this time of year is not so fun for a particular set of shelter animals. Sadly, black cats and dogs are far less likely to be adopted than their more colorful cousins. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see that change? That's why we've compiled some fun reasons why black cats and dogs just might be the luckiest adoption choice that anyone could make!

We hope your holiday is full of treats with no time left for tricks -- unless it's "sit" and "stay!"

TPM's Kitty Welcome Committee!

On October 13th, The Pet Maven threw its annual get-together! And, with this cute little hallway welcoming committee, there was no chance anyone would knock on the wrong door!

As a mobile business, so much of our day to day duties are done over email and phone calls. With more than 30 sitters with diverse schedules, it's a welcome chance to connect and chat about our favorite subject: cats!

We also took the opportunity to get organized for the upcoming holidays! We have begun reaching out to as many clients as possible to see if they have travel plans. If you haven't heard from us yet and you know you'll be traveling, please  get in touch and we'll save you a spot!
