Greetings!

Since June is the month of marriage, isn't it time we talked about commitment!?

Caring and commitment go hand in hand. When you care about something, you invest yourself. We're all animal lovers here, and because we care, we're committed to making the world a better, safer place for them!

Sometimes life throws a curve ball but we change and grow and, eventually, become better people. A large part of the process happens thanks to others: the ones who support us, or who set an example and show us what we can become!

But enough philosophy. Don't you think it's time to read the newsletter? I do!

Look! Up in the Sky!

The Fourth of July is almost here! You know, that day when giant laser-pointers and cat toys light up the sky!

Having a Pet Maven sitter gives you another kind of freedom: worry- free travel! Celebrate your independence, and book your sitter now!

To Have and to Hold

A pet should be a lifelong commitment, but life doesn't always play nice, and when people struggle, so do their pets. Natural disaster, illness, job loss, even deployment can put pressure on pet owners and lead to neglected or abandoned pets.

Everyone goes through a "ruff" patch sometimes, but these committed animal lovers know that pets are family! If you or someone you know is struggling, help is just a click away! These organizations offer everything from low-cost vet care, emergency boarding, even pet food and supplies. So don't roll over and play dead, go get help, Lassie! Good girl!
Dana, the Traveling Sitter

Ever wonder what your cat sitter does when they're not spoiling your kitty rotten? Many love to travel as much as you do!

Long time Pet Maven sitter Dana Lewman shares her experience as an intentionally-homeless, globe-trotting, adventure-having, and (thankfully) seasonal cat-sitter for The Pet Maven!

While we're sad Dana can't sit for us year 'round anymore, we're always glad to see her when she comes back to town! She certainly has some amazing stories to tell! Read all about Dana's travels and how they've enriched her life at Shareable.net
