Bottom's (Covered) Up

The Model G Patient Gown from Edison Award finalist the Henry Ford Innovation Institute delivers full patient coverage

The Henry Ford Model G Hospital gown completely closes in both the front and back, and can be used for inpatient stays and medical testing, including MRI and CT scans. Instead of the unwieldy, uncomfortable ties in the back, the gown instead implements adjustable snaps on the front and shoulders, and can easily be adjusted in size from medium to extra-large.  The design allows for easy accessibility for IV's.

When Henry Ford Hospital heard that Edison Awards Program Manager, Jessica, was expecting her first baby this spring, they sent her a Model G Patient Gown to wear. More

The Patient Safety Movement
Edison Awards finalist IVEA provides a safe solution for patient mobility

How is it that myriad advancements have transformed modern healthcare in the last 50 years, yet some of the equipment and practices most closely tied to patient outcomes have remained essentially unchanged?

That's the question we asked when we began to develop the IVEA. While other companies have made incremental improvements to old, inefficient designs, we started from scratch-using clinical input to create a new standard in patient care. The result is a marriage of form and function superior in every respect to what came before. More

Brain Power
Edison Awards finalist AnthroTronix delivers comprehensive cognitive testing with DANA

The cost of treating Americans who suffer from mTBI, concussion, depression, mental illness, MS, Parkinson's disease, and other brain-health conditions tops $345M+ annually. And millions more cases are undiagnosed or misdiagnosed each year.

In just five minutes, a DANA software screen uncovers signs of changes in cognitive efficiency. A second, 15-minute DANA screen generates a report that also includes behavioral data such as insomnia, fatigue, and depression. Such data are considered key factors in assessing, managing and monitoring conditions impacted by brain health. If more brain health data is needed, additional neurobehavioral test batteries may be administered via a third, 45-minute testing protocol. More

Gary Gulman is a stand-up comedian who lives in New York City. Originally from Boston, Gary has been a scholarship college football player, an accountant, a barista, a doorman, a waiter and a high school teacher. Now he is one of the most popular touring comics and one of only a handful of comedians to perform on every single late night comedy program. "Gary will be the next giant ex-Bostonian comic to break huge, CK, Burr, Gulman: You heard it here first" raved the Village Voice. He's made three TV specials, and three albums. Gary marked his 20-year anniversary in stand-up with the "It's About Time Tour," selling out theaters throughout the country. It's no wonder the New York Times wrote "Gary is finally being recognized as one of the country's strongest comedians."
