Lenovo is the world's largest PC maker and an emerging PC Plus leaderIn December 2004, Mr. Yang rocked the business world and catapulted Lenovo onto the global stage by announcing his audacious plan to acquire IBM's Personal Computing Division, chronicled today as one of the most successful technology mergers ever. That acquisition started Lenovo on a remarkable path of growth that saw its sales grow ten-fold to roughly $34 billion.  

  

Under Mr. Yang's leadership, Lenovo has grown from China's best-selling PC manufacturer to become a global technology leader with sales of $34 billion in more than 160 countries and manufacturing on four continents. More

In his new role as a Lenovo product engineer, actor Ashton Kutcher helps develop and market the Yoga line of tablets. "This partnership with Lenovo brings together my love of technology and design that makes your life better," said Kutcher. "Lenovo is all about innovation and strong leadership. Entrepreneurship is part of their DNA, and I couldn't ask for a better fit."

 

Powered with up to 18 hours of battery life, the Yoga Tablet is engineered like no other tablet in the market with its unique kickstand and cylindrical battery, allowing users to use the tablet in three modes (hold, stand, tilt). The Official Ballot of nominations for the 2014 Edison Awards has been sent to our distinguished panel of judges consisting of more than 3,000 senior business executives, academics and past Edison Award recipients. Voting ends on Sunday, February 9 at 11:59 PM PST.  Winners will be announced and celebrated at the Edison Awards Event in San Francisco on April 29-30.  
 
If you are a past Edison Awards winner and have not received the ballot, send an email to info@edisonawards.com  including the product for which you won an award, and the ballot will be emailed to you.
