Cascadia College Supporting Businesses, Increasing Training

Cascadia College has been increasing its support to businesses and industry in recent years by increasing its workforce training opportunities.

Professional development classes and customized employee training in the Bothell, Mill Creek, Kirkland, Woodinville, Redmond and surrounding communities are part of a partnership between Cascadia College and Everett Community College called CCEC Bothell.

The CCEC-Bothell programs have grown year to year, resulting in over a 130 different course topics offered any given quarter, with an increasing number of community members served through the CCEC-Bothell Corporate and Continuing and Continuing Education partnership. To date, over 3,400 students have been served since the beginning of the partnership in October of 2012. This next year is positioned to grow even more, with new training topics being added each quarter, and additional businesses contracting training to provide their workforce the skills necessary to continue to grow their companies.

CCEC programs at Cascadia College are tailored to the expressed needs of the community, but include business intelligence, software testing, high performance management, lean six sigma, human resources management, project management, manufacturing operations management, small business acceleration, and electronics.

For more information about continuing education courses in Bothell contact CCEC operations at 425-267-0150. Businesses interested in customized workforce training should contact Ray Kubista at trainingsolutions@everettcc.edu or visit www.everettcc.edu/ccec.

Cascadia College also offers professional and technical degrees and certificates for students.
