Aerospace Training Programs Annual report - 2012
Washington's Workforce Training and Coordinating Board developed this report on workforce and employment trends within the aerospace manufacturing industry in Washington State. The findings show that between 2015 and 2020, the average growth rate of aerospace occupations is forecasted to be 6.2 per year in Washington, based on survey responses from 186 Washington aerospace employers.
The report speaks to specific positions projected to be in greatest demand over the next 5-10 years, anticipated growth for each position, salary data, and the number of skilled students completing aerospace related training at community colleges. Read the report...

EvCC Hires Employment Solutions Manager to Assist Manufacturers in Finding Skilled Workers
 EvCC has created a new position to help employers connect with skilled workers trained for high demand aerospace and manufacturing-related positions. As Employment Solutions Manager, Buzz Loring will help employers seamlessly access high demand candidates who have been trained in EvCC's industry aligned programs. Programs include Airframe and Powerplant Technician, Precision Machining, Welding/Fabrication, Composites, Engineering Technology, Engineering, Electronics, IPC 610 Soldering, and others.
