Air Washington's First Year: 5 New Programs
EvCC has launched five new high demand certificate programs this year to support the aerospace and advanced manufacturing industries. The programs were created with funding EvCC received through the 11-member Air Washington consortium that brought in $20 million dollars in Department of Labor grant funding for aerospace industry training in Washington State. EvCC Awarded Grant for Composites, NDT Training
EvCC was awarded funding from the State Board for Community and Technical Colleges to expand its composites program. The $362,000 award will be used to purchase equipment to develop a new composites lab at Paine Field, hire additional faculty to double the program's size, and develop curriculum for Non-Destructive Testing training.
