My good friend and top hand, Richard Boatright will be offering his popular and very educational, "hands-on" Cow Working School again this fall. Participants will be working with Richard and his cattle herd on Richard's ranch near Watkinsville, GA on four consecutive Sunday afternoons, specifically 1:00 - 6:00 PM on Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 5 and 12.

Richard has managed large ranches in Wyoming and is now the herd manager for the UGA cattle herd along with managing his own herd. Participants will have the opportunity to learn advanced techniques for handling, gathering, sorting, cutting and moving cattle from horseback in open country along with roping practice.

Mike Harsh will also be assisting with instruction. Mike is a top hand cowboy with many years of experience with horses and cattle. Mike is a true artist with leather work and saddle making. It is a pleasure to know him and hear some of his wonderful stories of his life's adventures!
