Reserves Audit Back Again!

Council to adopt next year's budget

Will this budget support:
  • Sustainable, reliable and equitable fiscal practices?
  • Evidence based decision making?
  • Equitable distribution of resources?
Our General Fund Reserve Policy Fails to Convey that Maintaining the Reserve is a Priority performance audit shows the City's "rainy day fund" policy falls far short of recommended practices, and sets aside only half of what's needed.  A prudent reserve, like adequate infrastructure funding, is an investment in the future.

Support a budget that demonstrates a commitment to Berkeley's next generation

Please join us at the Council meeting in person, on the web or via
  email or via twitter @BerkeleyAuditor

Berkeleyside and February 17 issue of the Daily Cal)
