Dear ,
The City Auditor's annual report is Item 9 on tonight's Council agenda. We are asking Council to vote to 1) prioritize timely implementation of audit recommendations regarding fraud prevention, such as the 1998 grants audit and the 2011 adjusting journal entries audit; and 2) disclose internal control risks of recommended budget cuts in future budget reports. At the October 30 Special meeting at 6:30 PM, the City Auditor will discuss these issues with Council.
