Detex has many weatherized products for use on outdoor gates as well as doors that are exposed to the elements.


 

Alarmed Exit Device (EBxW)
Available on both Advantex and Value Series panic devices, the EBxW is designed for doors and gates requiring a stand alone, battery powered, alarmed, weatherized panic device.

Electric Latch Retraction (ERxW)
The Weatherized Latch Retraction function is designed for entrance and exit doors and gates with panic hardware where remote unlocking, remote dogging, or access control is desired.

Request To Exit Signaling Switch Device (EXxW)
The Request To Exit Signaling Switch is designed for doors and gates that require a means of switching when someone depresses the pushpad on the panic device during egress. Always used in conjunction with other security items, the switch provides a normally closed or normally open contact that can be used for a variety of different uses, such as turning on a remote horn or strobe, turning off a magnetic lock during egress, or used to initiate a delayed egress system.

ECL-230X-W Weatherized Exit Control Locks
The ECL-230X-W is a code compliant, battery alarmed, rugged dead bolt panic device with photo-luminescent sign providing maximum security and a 100dB alarm for secondary exits. Also available in the following configurations: top and bottom rod (TB); top rod and dead bolt (TD); and top and bottom rod plus dead bolt (TDB).

Battery Powered Door Prop Alarm
(EAX-300W)
The EAX-300W Battery Powered Door Prop Alarm is designed for applications where doors and gates may be used for egress or ingress, but may not be held or propped open. Door times from 1 second to 4 minutes are field selectable.




Battery Powered Door Alarm

(EAX-500W)
The EAX-500W Exit Alarm is designed for applications that require a battery-powered alarm on secured doors and gates, particularly emergency exits. The 100dB alarm (approximately) will sound when someone attempts an unauthorized exit.

Weatherized Delayed Egress EasyKit (WDE)
The WDE EasyKit provides a secure locking system with a 15-second delay and 100dB alarm when someone attempts to exit. It is ideal for garden centers, amusement parks, assisted living facilities, outdoor childcare, sports arenas and any other location exposed to weather or moisture where delayed exit is required to prevent theft or to protect those trying to exit.

GCS ProxiPen
The ProxiPen is the total solution for your guard tour verification requirements and other data collection tasks. The ProxiPen's data points are Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags, which the ProxiPen senses and reads automatically whenever they come into its reading range.

  • UL1034-34 Temperature Section 34
  • UL1034-54 Dust Section 54
  • MIL-STD 810F, Method 506.4 (driving rain test)
  • MIL-STD 810F, Method 509.4 (salt fog test)
  • UBC standard 7-2 (positive pressure)
