Tech Tip     

While the EU and EU2W trims look exactly the same from the front, they are not the same. The EU trim is designed for use on hollow metal and wide stile doors and is compatible with the BP1 mounting plate, while the EU2W is designed for use on hollow metal and wide stile doors and is compatible with the BP2. Detex does not currently offer an electrified lever trim that is compatible with narrow stile doors.

The main difference is the number of posts on the back of the EU and the EU2W trims. The EU trim has 4 posts that line up with the mounting screws on the head of a wide stile device. The EU2W trim is the same size as the EU trim, but only has 2 posts that line up with the mounting screws on the head of a narrow stile device.
