Detex's New Website
Detex launched its new website on April 22, 2014. The look, feel, and additional content have all been changed or added.
New features include:
 - An all new menu designed specifically to be user friendly, with drop down menus which require less clicks to get to the information
- The scrolling banner on the front page that displays the Detex sub-brands. You can click on any of the images to go to the overview page associated with that sub-brand
- New, user-friendly domestic and international rep maps
- The whole layout is responsive, so there is only one site for computer and mobile. The mobile version of the site is easy to use and very lightweight
 The Idea Center
The biggest change to the website is the addition of the Idea Center. This is for end users, architects and other visitors that are unfamiliar with door hardware and Detex. The Idea Center uses 3D building images with labels, explaining how various Detex products can be used within the example building. Once you click on the application, you will see a list of product applications that Detex can provide to address the needs of that application. These short descriptions allow the visitor to know all the various options available from Detex. Each link goes to riser diagrams, showing how an example of the application would look, which then lead to specific product information.

Tech Tip
The new website consists of an
expanded Help & Support section. Links to installation videos, instructions and templates, as well as training and support are located in this section.
On the training page, a list of current scheduled training is available, as well as the class trainer's contact e-mail. Also on the training page is a form where you can request training. This will go to one of Detex's certified trainers and they will contact you regarding the training you want.
