Door annunciator? Or door prop alarm?

EAX-300 Surface Mount Battery Powered Door Prop Alarm

EAX-300 Black and Gray

The Detex EAX-300 Series is designed for applications where doors may be used for egress or ingress, but may not be held or propped open. Door open times from 1 second to 4 minutes (15 second default) are field selectable. Setting door open time to 0 seconds turns the door prop alarm into a door annunciator. The smaller size makes installation quick and easy. The best thing about it is it's a low cost solution to propped open doors and helps keep energy costs down by ensuring doors are closed. The alarm silences when the door is closed - you don't have to wait for the key holder to arrive.

Benefits:

  • Low cost solution to propped doors
  • Keeps energy costs down
  • Quick and easy installation
  • Alarm silences when door is closed

Features:

  • Secure, tamper resistant housing
  • Intelligent circuit senses the external magnet location automatically and sets the correct door handing
  • 100 dB piezo alarm
  • 9VDC battery operated
  • Low battery alert
  • LED visual arming indicators
  • Adjustable alarm delay time 1 to 240 seconds
