Key Influencers Summit brought attention to rising opioid use in Milwaukee

As part of its 360 strategy, DEA held the Key Influencers Summit with the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America to address Milwaukee's opioid epidemic. Hundreds gathered to listen to experts speak on ways to reduce opioid use through police crack downs on dealers and strengthening community involvement.  Community Advocates Public Policy Institute and Safe & Sound were key partners in hosting the event.

The Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America offers an online course on medicine safety including the proper disposal and storage of drugs. The class warns of the dangers of drug use and how to keep families, patients, and the community safe.
27th Street West Drug Free Coalition works to prevent youth alcohol and marijuana use
