Walter J. Cook Jeweler Announces March Herend Promotion to benefit the Willistown Conservation Trust
Michael Cook, owner of Walter J. Cook Jeweler in Paoli will donate 10% of the proceeds of all Herend purchases during the month of March to the Willistown Conservation Trust. What better way to celebrate spring than with a Herend USA figurine of an endearing animal designed to melt your heart and warm your home? Michael Cook will include all Herend special orders placed in the month of March.
HEREND USA - Cold Nose, Warm Heart
Each figurine is brought to life by the skilled hands of artisans crafting and painting these charming porcelain creatures. The famous fishnet décor adorning many of the animals took form in 1858 when a Herend painter became inspired by a fish scale design he saw on a Chinese porcelain plate and painted a similar pattern onto a rooster figurine to imitate feathers. The rest is history, with the fishnet design now a Herend signature prized worldwide.
