The ILLINOIS THEATRE ASSOCIATION proudly announces Fire on the Prairie, a celebration of all community theatres in Illinois. This statewide Community Theatre Festival is slated for October 24-26, 2014 at the Hoogland Center for the Arts in Springfield. PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
In addition to featuring a wide variety of compelling workshops, exciting performances, and networking opportunities galore, the Festival provides up to eight community theatres a chance to be featured on the mainstage, with performances available to Festival participants and the general public. In addition, each production will be adjudicated by a panel of esteemed judges, with up to two companies being selected to represent our fine state in a regional competition with the American Association of Community Theatres.
There is much buzz already about the Festival and we hope your group will join in and add to this excitement!
Eight opportunities are available for Illinois Community Theatres to take center stage at Festival as presenting companies. Is your group ready to get fired up?
