ProLED Linear Series
The ProLED T8 LED retrofit tube is an energy efficient and environmentally friendly alternative to linear fluorescent lamps. Consuming only 16W and with a 40,000 hour average rated life, the UL listed ProLED T8 retrofit lamp offers 50% less energy usage than a standard fluorescent T8 and lasts up to 66% longer.
The frosted finish maintains the familiar look and feel of fluorescent, and can be used in a much wider range of temperature applications -4°F(-20°C) to 122°F(50°C). The ProLED T8's LED's UL listing allows the fluorescent luminare to maintain it's UL listing.

Programmed Start Ballast
A programmed-start ballast is a more advanced version of a rapid start ballast. This ballast first applies power to the filaments, allowing the cathodes to preheat and then applies voltage to the lamps to strike an arc. The ballast gives the best life and most starts from lamps. It is preferred for applications with very frequent power cycling such as vision examination rooms and restrooms with a motion detector switch.

ProLEDucation:
LM-79 & LM-80
LM-79 and LM-80 are both useful tools for analyzing LED products. LM-79 is a test that measures total luminous flux, luminous intensity distribution, electrical power, efficacy (lumens per watt delivered), and color characteristics. The LM-79 is engineered to assist consumers in knowing what they are buying when they choose a LED.
LM-80 is the approved testing method for measuring how well a light source maintains its lumen output over time as a percentage of initial light output. LM-80 helps to confirm that the bulb will have a usable amount of light for as long as it states it will.
