It is with regret that I announce the departure of Koffi Kpachavi from the McGaw YMCA after two seasons of dedicated service as Branch Executive Director, Camp Echo.
Koffi's plans are to move from Evanston to Fremont where his youngest son is in high school.
Over the next several weeks the process will begin to identify Koffi's replacement. I will continue to communicate changes as they come up. During the transition period please direct any Camp Echo inquiries should be directed to me.
Please join me in thanking Koffi for his valued service to the McGaw YMCA. We all wish him the best of luck in his new ventures.
Sincerely,
Monique Parsons

Dear Friends of Echo,
The leaves have fallen and the snow and ice have arrived. The year-round Camp Echo staff have retreated to our offices in Evanston but we miss this view every day. Next summer's staff and campers are making plans to return and camp is resting after a long and fun-filled summer. Over 1300 campers and 150 families enjoyed living and playing together. Thanks to our alumni and friends we were able to help 229 campers and 15 families attend camp this summer who otherwise could not have afforded to do so.
Camper registration and Staff hiring are underway for summer 2014 and we are looking forward to what we expect will be our best summer yet. We hope you will plan to join us for a couple of Camp Echo events this winter. First will be the All Time Camp Echo Reunion on Sunday, December 29, 2013, 4pm - 7pm at Prairie Moon in Evanston and the second will be a fundraiser for Camp Echo on Saturday, February 15, 2014, 7:00-11:00pm at the Woman's Club of Evanston. Details for each event are included in this newsletter.
Be the Spirit,
Bernard Rocca, Meredith Stevens, and Katie Trippi
