REALTOR Safety - Empower Yourself

It's here - by popular demand and professional need - a new clock-hour class for REALTOR safety!

Thursday, September 22nd, 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
at your SAR

Real estate professionals are in dangerous positions every day, young, old, man or woman.  You must equip yourself with basic safety concepts and habits.

Curriculum created and presented by Beale Luebben and Sabrina Jones-Schroeder.

You'll be glad you've taken this invaluable training opportunity!

See the class flyer (pictured above), online here.

Home Loan Toolkit

When we found Your Home Loan Toolkit - A Step-by-Step Guide, we knew we wanted to share it with you.  This document, created by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), is chock-full of good information and worksheets to walk home-buyers through the home loan process.

In order to build some equity in this document locally, we offered it through a guest column in The Spokesman-Review from 2016 SAR President Susie Luby, with an easy link to your SAR website where home-buyers could find it.

You can read Susie's guest column in Sunday's paper (pictured above), or online here.

You can refer your buyers to the SAR website, from which they can download a copy of the toolkit (pictured above), or offer it directly to your buyers after you download it here.

Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive

"Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive," an American Songbook classic, was written by
Harold Arlen, with lyrics by Johnny Mercer, in 1944.

First made popular by Bing Crosby in the movie "Here Come the Waves," this flawlessly upbeat song was nominated for an Academy Award, in the Best Song category, in 1945.

Seventy-two years later, it remains as catchy as ever, and also serves as a toe-tapping reminder of the basics of home staging.

Here in Spokane, we can visit Bing Crosby's childhood home which still stands near the main entrance to Gonzaga University.

Take a look before you go, online here.
