The Spokane MLS mobile App, powered by Homespotter, has released a great new update.

The update makes address and MLS number searches quicker and easier than ever! You can even search by neighborhoods, schools, and more. All from the address line in the app.

2016 SAR Dues Due

Your 2016 SAR annual dues are due January 1st, 2016.

You should have received an email, sent November 19th, which contained payment instructions. If you did not receive this email, please call the SAR at 326-9222 or continue with the online payment process here.

To pay your 2016 SAR annual dues online, click on the graphic below, which will bring up the login screen for the SAR member portal:

Once online, use the Review and Pay Balance section to make your payment online. Alternately, you may retrieve an invoice while online to pay by mail or you may pay in person at the SAR, 1924 North Ash Street.

Importance of Photography in RE Listings

Washington REALTORS® is sharing a good article: "New Study Highlights Importance of Photography in Real Estate Listings."

REAL Trends, in partnership with Virtuance, surveyed hundreds of top-producing real estate professionals across the country to find out how real estate brokerages and agents use professional photography in their businesses.

The survey found that there are five clear and compelling reasons why real estate sales associates and/or broker-ages choose to invest in professional photography.

SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER ANSWER:

The Hearing Panel concluded that REALTOR® B's conduct had violated Article 1 of the Code of Ethics, which requires REALTORS® to protect and promote their clients' interests. The panel also found that since REALTOR® B honestly felt the original listing price of $156,900 was the fair market value at the time he listed it, REALTOR® B had not violated the Code of Ethics by suggesting that the price be lowered. However, since REALTOR® B later concluded the property was overpriced, he should have immediately notified Client A of his conclusion and not waited for Client A to call him six weeks later.
