Take Action!

We are asking you to help us one last time (hopefully) this Legislative Session.

The House is still insisting on new Real Estate taxes and now Governor Inslee has joined them in that request.

We believe that fully funding education is a must in the 2015-2017 budget, but we believe that can be done without harming real estate, which for many REALTORS® across the state, is just now getting back to normal levels of activity.

Click the link below to send your legislators an email conveying your concern.

Thank you for your help on this critical issue,

Nathan Gorton

Government Affairs Director

The Voice for Real Estate

NEW!

The way credit scores are calculated needs to change to reflect shifts in demographics, technology, and lifestyles. At a summit NAR hosted with other groups, credit scoring companies agreed changes are needed and they said they're in the works. HUD Secretary Julian Castro attended the summit as well and said FHA is also looking at change. That's the lead story in The Voice for Real Estate for the week of April 13, 2015. Also covered: a surge in vacation home sales and what's inside the proposed federal rule on drones.
