The rider tests are still a mystery to most of the dressage world, they are still very new. Essentially they were created to allow the rider to be rewarded for proper riding and training and not penalized by not having a horse with wonderful gaits and natural talent. 
 
You will see these tests available at many shows across the nation and if you have contemplated entering a class you will definitely want to watch these first.

Alizee Froment-FRA

I love this video. Alizee rides in such a soft yet effective way constantly working on suppleness as you see her work different exercises always changing bend and flexion. Alizee incorporates so many different exercises that many of us do but dont often intertwine. She gets a beautiful end result from doing this and the other key take away is she is always showing you how she is moving him off her inside leg and keeping on the outside rein. As an amateur or professional you can gain much from this video and it should not be missed.
