At this time of Thanksgiving, we remember our faithful EFJ subscribers in our prayers of gratitude. We have been blessed to meet many EFJ fans at the recent Ignatiian Family Teach-In and the National Catholic Youth Conference. We welcome each encounter with listening ears, trying to be attentive to your needs and hope for Education for Justice.
As Advent approaches we share resources to complete the four-week journey. Sr. Dianna Ortiz OSU shares reflections, prayers and action ideas for each day of our Advent journey.
We also provide reflections on the Sunday gospels of Advent, with thoughts from Pope Francis' new exhortation, "The Joy of the Gospel," woven in with spiritual exercises and action ideas. Our newest prayer comes from Francis as well, seeking Mary's intercession as we evangelize others to the Good News.
Just in time for holiday giving, the 2014 Center of Concern "Signs of the Times" wall calendar is now available. Go to www.coc.org to discover how to get yours.
With gratitude, EFJ says farewell to fall semester intern John Morton of the College of the Holy Cross. See our new video at www.coc.org to find out more about our internship program!
Please contact us if we can be of further service. If you are not already a member, please join us now! If you have let your membership lapse, please renew now!
