FBCVA Christmas Events for 2015
First Family Christmas Celebration
Sunday, December 6, at 5:30pm
Our annual First Family Christmas Celebration will be Sunday, December 6, at 5:30pm at the Van Alstyne Middle School. Dinner will be prepared and served by our Deacons and Hospitality Team.

Please bring a dessert to share! 

Also, we will have music and entertainment by our Kids' Choirs and Worship Choir. Come enjoy a time of food, fellowship and fun with your church family!
FBCVA is joining three other churches in our association to present Jesus Our Treasure, a Musical for Christmas, on December 11, 12, and 13, at 7:00pm each night. All performances are free and open to the public.

This dramatic musical presents the gospel through the story of the first Christmas in Bethlehem, and features a choir made up of members from FBCVA, FBC Howe, North Park, and Fairview. Make plans now to attend one of the three performances - Dec. 11 at FBC Howe; Dec. 12 at North Park Baptist, Sherman; and Dec. 13 at Fairview Baptist, Sherman.
Kids' and Students' Christmas Parties
Wednesday, December 16
The GAs and RAs will combine for a Christmas party on Wednesday, December 16, at 6:15.

The Youth groups will also be having their Christmas parties on Dec. 16. Students need to bring a wrapped ornament to trade.
VAMA Christmas Food Baskets
The Van Alstyne Ministerial Alliance will be providing Christmas food baskets to families on Wednesday night December 16th, starting at 5:30pm. You can support this effort when shopping at Diamonds Food.  At the checkout you can purchase a bag of cans that they will deliver to our distribution. The VAMA has partnered with the FUMC monthly food distribution called "Gail's Pantry" for this effort.
We will have our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Thursday, December 24, at 7:00 pm.  Bring your family for a wonderful time of singing and sharing the Christmas story!
Reminder: The Church offices will be closed December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.
