Vehicle Winterization Inspection
The FBCVA Men's Ministry will be providing free 25-point vehicle inspections on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in the FLC parking lot. The inspection is designed to help get your vehicle ready for the upcoming winter months.  It is NOT an official Texas state inspection, although it includes many of the same items included in a state inspection. Also, we will not be able to make repairs to your vehicle.

Inspections will be made by appointment.  Each vehicle should take about 15 minutes.  Refreshments will be served in the FLC while you are waiting.  Appointment times can be scheduled by calling the church office at 903-482-6334.

Ladies, it is not too late to sign up for the final Women of Faith tour at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on October 2-3. This tour has been encouraging women since 1996 with compelling stories, laugh-out-loud humor, heart-tugging music, rejuvenating worship, and more! If you are interested in attending this final farewell tour, tickets are available in the church office, or call Lesley Thorpe at 903-482-6334.
Embassy Living Sermon Series

This Sunday Pastor Mike will continue his 
Embassy Living sermon series with a message from 1 Peter 2:18-25 titled, Do Work. Come learn how we can rely on God's Word to help us live as ambassadors in the world.

Wednesday  Ladies' Bible Study meets each Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 in the Adult Sunday School room in the basement and Wednesday evening 6:15-7:45 in the Overflow 
We are studying Beth Moore's  Daniel: Lives of Integrity, Words of Prophecy, a 12 session study. The first portion studies Daniel's life as he faced unbelievable pressure to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats. Today, believers in Jesus Christ face many of the same trials. The second portion explores thrilling prophecies from the time of Daniel through the second coming of Jesus Christ. Study guides will be available at the first session for $15.99.
